PT Kadya Caraka Mulia (KCM) was estabilished on 18 January 1988. PT KCM signed a third-generation Coal Contract of Work (PKP2B) with the government on 31 May 1999. After completing the construction of mining facilities and infrastructure, the company started coal production in late 2006.

KCM mining area located in Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province with total area of 4,628 hectares that consist of 2 mining blocks: North Block and South Block.

KCM coal has 5,800 kcal/kg GAR. Coal is hauled from mine pits to a coal port at Sungai Puting village using dump trucks. Sungai Puting Port operated by KCM’s sister company PT Kalimantan Prima Persada (KPP)
